Chef Spotlight: Mari

Okay, so I've been a major slacker the last couple of weeks and have not posted a thing! We were busy painting, moving and visiting with my family that was in town. SO, now I'm back and happy to post a new chef spotlight, although it is late!

The spotlight I am happy to present today is Mari. Mari & I were choir buddies at good 'ole UVSC...well, UVU now. Let's get to know her a little better, shall we?

Where are you from?
Mt. Pleasant Michigan, although now I live in Vancouver Washington. (It's so purty up there!)

Why did you join What's in {Your} Oven?
Cause Jillian said to :-) (why does that seem to be a recurring theme?! I'm not *that* bossy, am I?) J/k I needed an excuse to try new recipes and expand our dinner menu. Seemed like a good way to do it!

Who do you cook for?
The main recipient/dictator of what I cook is the darling fetus in my womb. However, my husband and I also enjoy eating every once in a while. (I always used that excuse. "I don't want another piece of pie, but Baby B does, so I'd better acquiesce their request.")

What kind of food do you like?
Right now I like... everything? Seriously, food has never tasted so good. But normally I love pizza and seafood. Mmm...

What do you hope to get out of participating in What's in {Your} Oven?
I just want to learn some new recipes and spice up our daily dinner! ("spice up" ha ha ha)
